There’s a lot of constraints on our days.  Our families. Our jobs. Our commute. Our social life.  Our friends. What haven’t I said yet? OURSELVES. We take up so much time for others that we put ourselves LAST almost exclusively. Why? Why do we feel guilty putting ourselves first?
It probably started in childhood when our parents told us to wait our turn or let someone else go first on the slide.  We would patiently wait. And wait. And wait. However I have come to realize that I CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER MINUTE FOR ME.

Follow my math. Every single person gets 24 hours.

8 = work

2=commuting

3=family

7=sleeping (if we’re lucky)

=20 right there and you haven’t done ONE THING FOR YOU NOR EATEN.

Time to earn my 4%
Always time in my day FOR ME!
Rain or shine – day or night–ME FIRST.

Take one hour 4% of your day for YOU. Meal prep. Workout. Meditate. Dance. Poop. It doesn’t matter. Taking time for you is critical in this journey. And you don’t have to do it all at once. 2% here and 2% later are just as effective.

And I promise you will be a better mom, wife, sister, friend, everything by taking THAT time just for you.

Prove me wrong. I take 4% everyday and don’t regret it for a second. 👊
