One of the smartest things I’ve done on this healthy journey was wrap myself in like minded people who were also on a healthy journey.
I found folks through FitBit, Facebook, Instagram, Connect (the WW private social media), grocery stores, you name it, I was looking for people who would inspire me, motivate me, challenge me.
Initially, I found a group of 10 folks that we became a tight knit group. We talked hourly of successes and struggles alike. Sharing was ok in our group, for the men and women. We didn’t judge, we picked up and dusted off.
Soon, some of that group met in real life (IRL for those in the know) and something magical happened-we clicked even more! We started boosting each other, supporting each other, rooting for the others. We were strong together.
And soon, we decided we needed a place like us FOR us and No Finish Line Nation, the Facebook page, was born in February and we are now proudly 41,000+ strong.
THIS was our place. A positive, strong, nurturing place where people could meet strangers and feel the support we did two years ago, Where we would lift you up when down, adjust your crown when it slipped and most important, be a place to come be accountable on your healthy journey.
We are not all Weight Watchers on the site, in fact we encourage conversations on keto, intermittent fasting and other plans that some might find success with.
If you have a few moments, would you please check out our No Finish Line page? And if you’re really interested in a boost of butt kicking, check out our NFLNspriration Event in Boston this August. It is everything good and motivating about No Finish Line Nation in one evening!
I would love to hear your thoughts if you’re a member of NFLN. What you like, what you don’t and what you’d like to see more of. Please comment below and thanks for keeping ME accountable.
